I already tried to post this once. Not only did it not go through, but when I tried to back up to post again, the event box had been blanked, forcing me to retype everything.
On my way back to the lodge on Monday, I decided to take some side roads in order to see what else was around here. Much to my surprise, I came across an excellent gaming store in the middle of an otherwise hideously banal stripmall. Not only does the store have as good or better of a selection than any other store I've ever been to, but they also discount everything they sell %20 off the cover price. And, to top it all off, they were in the middle of a "buy 1 get 1 free" sale. So, for about $40 I was able to get Kithbook: Eshu, GURPS: Faeries, the 7th Sea Player's Guide, and the 7th Sea Gamemaster's Guide. The 7th Sea books were picked up primarily because
gaaneden has spoken often and well of them in my presence on multiple occasions. I'm enjoying the first one so far, and I may post a review in the near future, just for fun.
I saw Paycheck last night. It's your typical enjoyable, unsurprising, and ultimately forgettable Jon Woo action/adventure movie brought up a notch by the presence of actor Paul Giamatti.
Other than that, not much has been going on here. I'll be back in Seattle in a little over 4 days. Cheers.
