More annoying Serenity talk

I followed [livejournal.com profile] byrdie's link to the IMDB poll to vote for the best and worst movies and work of 2005. I cast my votes in the areas in which I felt qualified to cast my votes, and then I looked closely at the results. I noticed that Serenity (or someone involved in making Serenity) ranked between #4 and #8 in all the following categories: Best Picture (English Language), Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director, Funniest Movie, Best Action Movie, and Most Entertaining Movie. However, what's really interesting is that 2/3 of the movies that beat out Serenity in these categories also appear somewhere in the "Worst of 2005" lists, while Serenity does not.

It just goes to show that what we Browncoats have been saying are true: Almost everyone who actually saw Serenity liked it; it's just a shame that the number of those people was so small.

Hey! I just realized that according to IMDB, Bloodrayne was a 2005 movie! And it's not even in the top ten of their Worst list yet. (I can only assume that's because most people were smart enough to avoid it.)
