I own very little in the way of "calm" music, and I find that the Haibane... soundtrack is a good one when I need something unobtrusive and fairly relaxed. Also, while it's not what I would call a standout anime soundtrack, I do find the composer's choice of instrumentation (particularly when he combines western and eastern instruments in the same piece) to be interesting.
