Chad is the developer of the PDQ system and author several games based off of it, such as The Zantabulous Zorcerer of Zo, Truth & Justice, Dead Inside, and Monkey, Ninja, Pirate, Robot: the Roleplaying Game. As the name suggests, S7S is a game of airships, sky pirates, and dramatic aether-tech fantasy. I'm a fan of virtually every genre and influence that this game pulls from, and Chad's skills as a game designer have only improved with each book he's put out, so I have no doubt that he'll make a spectacular game out of this.
Fred Hicks (drivingblind) of Evil Hat Productions did a fantastic job of laying out Chad's last game (ZoZ), and it looks like he's been tagged to do the same on this one. This seems to be a growing side-job for Fred, as he also did the layout for Beast Hunters as well. What's really cool, though, is that Fred has convinced Chad to do regular LJ updates documenting his work on S7S in order to help create buzz for the game. I love it when game designers do this, and I firmly believe it will help to make S7S a success. Heck, the logo alone is enough to make me drool.
